Barrett Holman Leak is the Founder & Executive Director of Playing Together Project. Its mission is "Centering African American Jews and uniting Black and/or Jewish San Diegans through a common love of film, food, music and art". Besides being a community organizer, she is an educator, children's author, and a professional coach and consultant specializing in resilience. Her journey in this lifetime as a multiethnic Black Jewish woman has taken her to live in the USA, Denmark, Central/South America and the Middle East. She is fluent in English, Danish and French and she loves traveling and learning from new cultures and people. Barrett is here to build bridges between people and across cultures.
