Colleen is a keynote speaker, fractional culture consultant, workplace culture and health behavior policy researcher, and a mental health advocate. She proudly labels herself a blue-collar woman wrapped in a PhD package. Having weathered the challenges of two family-owned construction businesses, her focus is on the business owner and employees within the construction industry. Not only does Colleen have life experience, throughout her 25-year career, she's partnered with companies such as BP Pipeline, GE Energy, Colonial Pipeline, Greif Packaging, Cracker Barrel, Gilbane Construction, and hundreds of others, to create healthy workplace environments (culture and climates) that retain employees. Many like to categorize Colleen as a Human Resources (HR) professional, however, she is not. She is an Organizational Health Professional who understands that thriving, healthy workplace environments aren’t built by chance, or Human Resources. They’re built by the entirety of a business, and its commitment. In Colleen's free time, which she is very protective of, she can be found holding tight to her non-negotiable 5am physical activity routine, running through the streets of Atlanta, GA training for her next marathon, enjoying the outdoors with her husband Scott and dog Hamilton, hanging with friends, reading thrillers or traveling.
