Emma Price

SPEAK: Desire

While currently living in Austin, Texas, Emma was originally born in New England and raised in Maine. She attended Bowdoin College receiving a BA in Gender and Women's Studies before moving abroad to France. While living in Rennes, she taught English to high school and post-bacc students for two years before inevitably returning to the United States. It was back in Maine that she discovered her true passion for teaching and subsequently applied to graduate school. Emma then moved to Austin, Texas and received a Masters in Elementary Education from Texas State University. She taught grades first, second, third, and fourth at a private school in Austin for almost 10 years when she decided to take a break and forge a new path. Emma currently works as a private tutor and a part-time Educator at lululemon. She lives in South Austin with her husband, one-eyed geriatric maltipoo, and a baby on the way.
