Errol L. Pierre is a healthcare executive, public speaker, professor, and author.
He serves as an executive of a large non-profit health plan in NY and was the former Chief Operating Officer of Empire BlueCross BlueShield. Errol graduated from Fordham University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He later obtained a master’s degree in health policy and financial management from New York University and completed his Doctorate in Business Administration from Baruch College with a focus on Health Equity and Economics. He is an adjunct professor at New York University, Columbia University, and Baruch College teaching Health Economics and Health Transformation.
He serves as a board member of Arthur Ashe Institute of Family Health and Medinova and is the co-chair of the Yonkers Health Equity Taskforce.
Errol is also the author of a new book published by Wiley entitled The Way Up: Climbing the Corporate Mountain as a Professional of Color, where he delivers an actionable guide for underrepresented employees seeking to grow in today’s virtual workplace.
