Krista Giannak

SPEAK: Freedom

"When you think something's impossible, find someone who's already done it," says Krista Giannak, Founder of WiseWordsThatMatter.com, writer and skier, who happens to be blind. Krista used to shy away from her personal story. Now, she embraces and speaks about it, while inspiring her ghostwriting and blogging clients to do the same. Her writing services empower thought leaders to become better known, trusted, and remembered, so their readers feel more comfortable taking action. This increased credibility positions visionaries to change minds, book speaking engagements, land clients, and increase revenue.

Krista has garnered media coverage for clients in local newspapers and on television stations, such as CBS 2 and FiOS 1. Her journalism background includes feature articles published in local newspapers, magazines, and a hospitality industry trade journal.

Awards and honors have included a Dante Foundation scholarship, the Moxxie Mentoring Foundation Purple Pump Award, and the Melville Chamber of Commerce Young Professional of the Year. Krista serves as Vice President of Membership of the World of Difference Virtual Toastmasters Club, and she is a member of the board of directors of Suffolk Independent Living Organization (SILO), a nonprofit run by and for people with disabilities. She received her B.A. in Communication Arts and Psychology from Dowling College.
