Sarah Cavanaugh is a conversationalist, business owner, podcast host, and documentary film producer, among other hats. She is the co-founder of Peaceful Exit, a webinar series and podcast that explores all aspects death, grief, and loss.Sarah believes in independent storytelling, and currently supports the award-winning film, EXPOSURE. This film captures an intimate story of resilience, survival, and global citizenry in the last-ever expedition to the North Pole.She has led startups in the social sector for over 30 years working in support of the arts, leadership development, environmental justice, children’s health, and human rights. Committed to social change and a deep believer in the power of language, she has worked with poets and artists both individually and through organizations like Hedgebrook and Artist Trust, where she co-founded a residential documentary filmmakers lab and a pilot program for elder artists. She was a founding board member of The Merwin Conservancy. Her favorite volunteer gig is being a partner for 33 years, and a mom to three kind humans.
